June

Macy likes to hide—in cupboards, a recently emptied shelf of the bookcase, and, well, keep reading.

I'm sure I've talked about Josh's laugh at some point, but here's another video of his funny growl of a belly laugh.

I have no idea what he was eating. Probably a cupcake. I make far too many cupcakes.

We didn't love the price, but we bit the bullet and bought the DVD from Macy's dance recital. I'm so glad we did. She loves to watch it. She watches the dancers and tries to mimic them. This was after a few viewings—she's getting pretty good.

This kid loves hats. Cowboy hats, baseball caps, hooded towels. This is the hat we bought him in Disneyland and it is clearly too small. Just one more month until your birthday, little buddy . . .

What'd I tell you?! We just got a new TV console and hadn't moved this one upstairs yet. So in she went. She had a small but clever accomplice help her close the doors.

I'm not sure what I was doing that made this video so shaky, but I'm sorry if it makes you sick. Macy had been on her own for a few minutes and I caught her humming and then singing a song—"make a castle, make a castle," etc., while she was playing with blocks. So cute.
