Haircuts!

I'm so far behind. This is going to be long and detailed for posterity's sake, so skim if you're bored.

On October 29, 2011, Josh and Macy both got their first real haircuts. I had trimmed Macy's hair once when she was a baby and taken her in for a very little trim when I got my haircut once, and I'd cut Josh's hair at least twice when he was very small to even it out (once with pretty funny results). But their heads of hair were getting out of hand, so we took the plunge.

I was particularly reticent about getting Josh's hair cut. I thought it was cute, kind of curling up at the back and stuff. But if I thought he was cute before, it was nothing to how adorable he looked after it was cut.

Macy's was a little trickier. Her hair is still really curly on the bottom but wavy to straight on the top. Luckily our randomly selected stylist had curly hair, so she cut the top layer the same length as the bottom would be when curly (as opposed to the traditional wet cut where everything is combed straight and cut the same length). The result was, again, super cute. No before shot, but you know what she looks like.
