Macy is changing so much and we're having more and more fun with her every day. She's also getting a bit more difficult. She's definitely happier, don't get me wrong. She's also more mobile. And messy. Here's her latest news.
We haven't been to the doctor for a while (we go Monday), but according to our records she weighs about 14.6 lbs. Yes, I know that's not very big for her age. But that's three times her birth weight.
We started Macy on solid foods a while ago, but she's really got it down now. Yesterday when I put her in her seat and she saw the bowl and spoon her whole body just shook with excitement. In other words, solid foods are going well. However, we still have our funny moments. Like this one.
About a week ago she got to try her first graham cracker. It made a mess but she sure did love it.
For quite a while now Macy has been surprising me by scooting around her blanket or crib, ending up in the opposite direction of where I lay her down or grabbing something originally out of her reach. One great thing she's been doing lately is pulling her activity mat down on herself. At least it makes her happy.
She has also become increasingly strong and mobile. She likes her tummy time better (as opposed to screaming her head off).
I'm thinking part of the reason she likes it better is that she gets there herself. That's right, she's finally rolling to her tummy. (Unfortunately we didn't get the first one on video. She kind of surprised us. Now she's an expert.) Here's a video of her great display of her newest skill.

She is so cute! You have one adorable daughter you guys!
Oh we miss you guys so much...Carter was so excited and thrilled to talk to you; the rest of the day he told everybody he talked to "his Megan!" Macey is getting so big, how fun to catch all the things she does to show to posterity or family :)
Fun pictures! It's fun when they learn something new!
