I'm taking a minute (hour) to blog in spite of having a hundred other things to do. It's been a month again and if I don't do it now it will never happen.
We have had a crazy month. We're supposed to move in about two weeks and none of our plans are in place. Yikes! Wish us luck. For those of you who know what this means, we still don't have orders and Greg's report date is right around the corner. So we can't schedule TMO, we can't get funding for a PPM, and we can't start out-processing. Christmas is an added complication to our timeline. But things will work out. (If I tell myself that enough, do you think it will become truth?)
Speaking of which, has anyone ever used U-Box pods? We're thinking about going with them for our PPM (personally procured move). They're cheaper than PODS and seem like they'll be easy enough. Supposedly TMO is still an option. We'll see.
Okay, now to the main event. Instead of the five different posts, I'll just do an all-in-one. So bear with me through all of the pictures.

| Halloween! I'm just grateful Josh let us put this costume on him. He rejected the puppy costume from last year. They both thoroughly enjoyed going door-to-door and finding people to give them candy. |
| I've started taking pictures of the bigger projects Macy brings home. Exciting stuff. |
| Just at the park, having fun. |
NC Zoo: We have a zoo membership, but this is only the third time we've used it—it's really far away, so the aquarium is easier. It was so much fun! Except that it rained all day. Oops.
| They had a special temporary dinosaur exhibit. The kiddos were fascinated. |
| For some reason, they still had the misters on. Weird. Josh was very intrigued by the mist. |
| Josh plopped himself down in the swing seat (we recently dismantled the swing) with his favorite book. Cute. |
| Returning our walls to their original color . . . |
We went to Nathan & April's house for Thanksgiving. As usual, I don't have a lot of pictures. The first thing Macy said to Nathan in her half-asleep state was "Guess what? I'm getting married." Then she had to tell April too. Funny girl.
| I went Black Friday shopping for the second time this year. It was super fun and I got almost all of my shopping done! This was the line for Toys R Us. It went all the way down the strip mall and out to the road, then started back down the street. Wowser. Didn't take too long to get inside once they opened the doors, luckily. |
| She loved the trampoline! But she fell off once. I had to laugh, after she fell (she fell face first and cut her lip; nothing too serious) she was fighting the tears so hard while trying to convince me she should get back up. |
| An exhausted Josh, who hardly slept all week, on the way home. |
| Macy pretended to sleep so I'd take her picture too. |
We spent most of Monday at home and headed back south to SC for a TDY. While we were there we went to the Columbia Zoo, where they were having their 25th annual lights festival and we got to see Santa. When Santa asked Macy what she wants for Christmas, she said a wedding dress. When he asked her if she wants anything else, she said shoes. Those pictures are on Greg's phone. Oops.
Finally home again for a bit longer this time. Josh was happy to be reunited with his train track.
