Dance Classes 2 & 3

There was really nothing to report on last week's dance class. I had a lot of trouble finding her a leotard and tights that were small enough and her shoes hadn't arrived yet, so she looked a little . . . bedraggled. She went happily into class and I made sure I was out in front when they came out of class but she still burst into tears when she saw me.

Yesterday was much better all around. We found two super-cute leotards for her and she now has official Bloch tights and ballet slippers. She wouldn't look at me when I was trying to take her picture, so this is the best I've got for now.

She participated yesterday! They all stood and stared at the beginning as usual, but then she started doing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" with them and did a great Job with "The Hokey Pokey." For some parts of class she was standing a little away from the group twirling. One of the other little girls went over, grabbed Macy's hand, and walked her back to the group. It was very cute.

Here's a video I took before class so you can see her a little better. Maybe I'll get brave enough to actually take an in-class photo or video. I wouldn't count on it if I were you. Last week I was brave enough (or desperate enough) to ask the other moms where they bought small-enough outfits. Aren't you proud of me?

Macy looks so cute in her leotard! Also, she looks like how your twin brothers still look in my mind.
