Time to catch up.

Just one more vacation photo. Macy had to have her own seat, which meant that she had to sit buckled into that seat during takeoff and landing with her tray table up. She didn't like that idea. So when we were landing in Atlanta she screamed so hard she made herself throw up (maybe that's gross to tell you about, but she does it all the time and I'm not sure how to make her stop). So she was a mess and the extra clothes I set aside accidentally got packed. So we bought her a shirt.

There's a lot to catch up on (over a month), so I'll do it by date again.

We had a tornado warning. After hiding in the closet under the stairs for half an hour, this is what it looked like outside. The tornado never reached us, but hit about 20 miles away. And now I can empathize more with Harry Potter.

Airshow! We all went for a while on the 16th but it was cancelled because of the tornado warning, so Macy and Greg were naughty and went for a while on Sunday. They met some friends there, who let Macy wear their earmuff things (I'm not sure what they're called). They kind of squished her face together.

Macy is into putting all of her headbands on lately. One day we put all of her hair stuff (bows, clips, ribbons) in her hair, then in my hair. It was awesome.

Easter Sunday. Here they are in their cute little Easter outfits.

Macy decided it would be cool to eat outside. Don't the boots look awesome with the dress?

29 April 2011
Pretty self-explanatory. These two love swings.

Here's Josh having fun. I like it when Macy and Josh nap at the same time, but it's also fun to spend time with them on their own.

Greg had surgery. He had a wisdom tooth way up in his cheek coming out sideways. Weird. When this picture was taken we were in the waiting room and he was on valium. See the lady outside? There was a cardinal that kept flying into the window so she was trying to stop him. Apparently it (the bird) does that daily.

Josh is sitting and crawling. He has been for a while now, but he's getting lots better lately. He still doesn't keep his tummy off the floor for very long, but he's getting there. He likes to crawl into the kitchen to see what we're up to. He gets very frustrated that he can't move faster. These videos were actually one very long video but even short ones take forever to upload.

Macy is talking quite a bit. Her big thing right now is "what's that?" She says it over and over. It's pretty annoying, to be honest. But I'm glad she wants to know what everything is called. She also will not leave my hair alone lately, which drives me completely crazy. She squeezes in behind wherever I'm sitting and pulls at it while it's up and it hurts and then I have to redo it and man! Just leave me alone! (She's doing it now.)

OCSC (Officer & Civilian Spouses' Club) hosts Bingo every May (it was my first event last year) and I won! I won the second-best prize (I was the first to get a postage stamp, if you know what that means). I was so excited and I was all red and shaking and yelling and I made a complete fool of myself. Here's what I won. I wasn't planning to join again next year but they swindled me into doing the newsletter again.

This thing is huge! The frame is 29" x 35". The print is signed and it came with a letter from the artist and a certificate of authenticity because it's a rare-edition or something.

13 May 2011
Josh likes food. He's getting very good at picking up finger foods by himself.

Okay, you're all caught up. Sorry it took so long.

I love that picture of Greg. You should put it in a frame next to that one picture of you when you got your tonsils out. Also, Macy seems like such a funny little girl. I'd like to know her one day. I think she looks like such a Tate in that first picture you took of her.

Also, I bet that the airplane, throw up experience was traumatic. Also I would have paid money to see you get all excited about winning bingo. I can picture it in my mind! ha ha ha
