A few notes for posterity's sake: Macy was always really excited whenever we were in line to see characters. She'd try to run forward in the line and everything. Then when it was our turn she wouldn't even let us hold her near them. She loved the carousels, so everyone got a few chances to ride those. You may notice that someone different is holding her in every picture; she decided who she wanted at any given moment and wouldn't have anything to do with anyone else. We went to an amazing show called "World of Color" (that's why the Ferris wheel was all lit up) where they use water and light (and even some fire) in pretty amazing ways; they even create a heavy mist that they use for video projection. Josh was a little trooper the whole time and we got to take lots of little breaks for him to eat (that's when Macy got to hit the carousel again). By the end of every day all he wanted was to roll around on his own for a while.
