Been a while . . .

It's definitely time for a post about Macy. There's a lot to catch up on. Before I get to that, the pregnancy is still going really well and my blood pressure is still where it should be. Thanks everyone who voted on a baby name. We're leaning toward Josh, but we're still very much undecided. And now to the main event. (By the way, you'll notice that most of the pictures and videos are a little fuzzy. The camera lens was covered with baby fingerprints and I didn't notice until after I put them on the computer.)

First of all, here's a video from when we were in Utah. Macy discovered that she likes to stand on a box of wipes and "exercise." So here she is with her grandpa.

Here's a classic (and rare for Macy) dirty face shot. While we were in Utah she started getting her four eye teeth (which are still working their way through) and she basically stopped eating. One of the only things she would eat was toast.


Back in NC, enjoying a ring pop from Easter. (We were painting. More on that later.)


She's starting to play more on her own and she's figuring out how to use her fridge farm (she got it for her birthday) without help.

She found the eyeliner. And used it in a new and exciting way.


She loves shoes. And she has a special fascination with daddy's boots.

We went to the zoo for our anniversary. Maybe that's weird, but I was so excited to take Macy to the zoo. So, clockwise from upper left: I pulled out the camera and for some reason Macy thought that was her cue to sit down and have her picture taken; I thought it was cute to see Macy standing with the big kids watching the gorilla; playing in the "eggs"; with daddy in front of the elephant (it's a funny red color from rolling in the mud).


And finally, she loves to go to the park and play on the slides. She's totally fearless (except when it comes to bugs).
