Macy is busy. Here's what she's up to. (Sorry they all start with she.)
She slithers. You can't really call it crawling, because her tummy stays mostly on the floor. But she slithers awfully fast. And yes, she gets into everything. Especially if she's not supposed to have it.
She most especially enjoys the DVD/CD rack. If we ever have money again we'll invest in a cabinet. In the meantime, she'll keep pulling everything off the bottom shelf and we'll keep praying she doesn't pull it over on herself.

She can say "dada." She just won't do it on camera. She always gets stuck on the bottom of the coffee table. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it looks a bit painful, sometimes both.
She went swimming for the first time a week or two ago. It was pretty cold, so she definitely didn't love it. She basically whined quietly the whole time (not the high-pitched puppy whine she does, but the moaning one) and occasionally sputtered and blew raspberries. We've been back and she enjoyed it a bit more.
Here's a close-up of the face she was making the whole time.

She loves to read. If she's upset, The Very Hungry Caterpillar is the fastest way to calm her down (unless she's a very hungry Macy and just needs to eat). I have it memorized. (The book, I mean.)

She can sit up. She is capable of staying upright indefinitely, but she gets too distracted by everything around her and dives for things.
She enjoys her bouncer far more than she used to. She always liked it, but couldn't handle it for too long. I think she was too small.
She still has beautiful, big blue eyes.
In other news, Greg's classes have been switched to nights, so he works from 4 p.m. to midnight (theoretically, that is; in actuality he usually gets home around 10). He's enjoying it a lot more than he was in the beginning--the subject matter has gotten more interesting. We're still adjusting to nights. It throws a bit of a kink in our schedule, but it's not too bad--Greg gets to be here when Macy is at her most active and exciting and we get to do a lot of stuff together that we wouldn't be able to normally. We just have a hard time getting a move-on in the mornings.
The only exciting thing that has happened to me specifically is that I went chocolate crazy last week. I made chocolate truffles, cream puffs with chocolate whiped cream, and chocolate fondue. It was very exciting. We're still finding finely chopped semi-sweet baking chocolate in the oddest places. Riveting, I know.
