Thanksgiving

We started out Thanksgiving this year watching the parade New York decided to throw for Macy. We told them they were far too generous, but they did it anyway.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with my dad's side of the family. Almost everyone was there this year, which is pretty much amazing. We had somewhere around 55 people there if my memory serves me correctly.

Here we are. Macy, as usual, is burrowed into Greg's chest. She loves to cuddle.

My grandma Tate was able to be there, and she held Macy for a while. Here's a picture with Macy, Grandpa Tate (hers, not mine), and Great Grandma Tate that Aunt Tana sent us.

Thanksgiving dinner was excellent, with the highlight of the meal being my mom's sausage stuffing. I love sausage, I love stuffing, and I love gravy. It makes for one perfect, delectable combination. Someone brought guitar hero, so I battled my mom and Greg. What's a family get together without that great American pastime, video games?

After dinner we went to my uncle's house (mom's side) for pie. My mom alone made seven, so we had about 14 total. That's a lot of pie.

So there you have it. Macy's first Thanksgiving.
